Alexander Göbel - German Public Auditor and Tax Adviser
Alexander Göbel is a Senior Manager at the Düsseldorf office of Grant Thornton. He joined the company in 2017 and has many years’ experience in auditing publicly traded companies and in national and international tax advisory. He is a member of the International Tax Law service line at Grant Thornton AG.
Besides providing advice to national and international clients on all issues of income tax, reorganisation tax and VAT, his particular areas of specialisation include advisory on topics of international tax law (e.g. withholding taxes and permanent establishment issues). A particular focus of his work is advising international group of companies on global minimum tax (Pillar Two). Alexander Göbel also assists clients at the interface with accounting, such as with deferred tax accounting.
