Hermann-Josef Schulze Osthoff

Hermann-Josef Schulze Osthoff is Senior Partner at Grant Thornton Germany working in Audit. As head of Audit Services he is responsible for the management and further development as well as the orientation of our company in the fields of auditing financial statements, other audits and assurance services, audit-related services, compilation of financial statements and accounting-related advice for non-publicly listed companies. Furthermore, he is responsible for controlling within our company. He has about 21 years of experience in auditing and advising mainly medium-sized owner-managed businesses.

Fields of expertise

• Audits of separate and consolidated financial statements of SMEs and mostly owner-managed businesses according to German GAAP
• Audits of separate and consolidated financial statements of companies with international activities and owner-structure in accordance with international accounting standards such as US GAAP and IFRS.

Memberships

• Member of the Grant Thornton International Audit Advisory Committee, an international body to provide assistance and advice to the Global Leadership Board of Grant Thornton International in the Audit Service Line
• Member of the working group ISA Transformation of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany [Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer e.V. (IDW)]
