Johannes Müller

Johannes Müller qualified as a lawyer in 2018 after studying at Bayreuth University and passing his traineeship (placement in energy law at a large audit and consulting firm). Before joining Grant Thornton in 2025, he worked in litigation, insolvency law, and commercial and sales law at a leading German commercial law firm. His work included working on commercial and insolvency issues on secondments at the legal departments of large energy companies.

Fields of expertise

• Insolvency law: advising creditors with assertion and defence against claims related to insolvency (claims against debtors, claims contesting insolvency, D&O liability)
• Commercial and sales law: drafting commercial agreements, general terms & conditions, out-of-court resolution of commercial disputes, and assertion and defence of claims in court
