Felix Schiller LL.M.

Felix Schiller joined Grant Thornton Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in July 2023 as an Associate in the Financial Services Legal department. 
He advises on all aspects of regulatory and investment law, particularly regarding the structuring and documentation of open-ended and closed-end alternative investment funds in the areas of credit, private equity, securities, infrastructure and real estate funds. He also completed a three-month secondment in a Luxembourg AIFM.
In addition, Felix Schiller advises on the restructuring and liquidation of funds as well as on all ESG-relevant or sustainability-related topics with respect to sustainability funds and green bonds.

Fields of expertise

• Advising institutional investors on the acquirability and marketability of target investments in funds and securities as well as conducting due diligence reviews and preparing acquirability memoranda (fulfilment of the acquirability requirements under the KAGB, VAG, AnlV, SGB and Solvency II)
• Implementation of securitisation structures issued by Luxembourg or German securitisation special purpose vehicles reflecting the investments in credit, private equity infrastructure and real estate funds in Germany, Luxembourg, Ireland or the USA
• Preparation and execution of regulatory approval procedures
