Christian Velte has extensive experience in consulting and auditing in the financial services sector, which he gained both at a Big Four firm and at mid-market audit firms. He specialises in IT audits for financial service institutions as part of annual audits and internal audits. His focus is the correct and effective implementation of national and international regulatory requirements as well as auditing system security.

Field of expertise

• IT system and process audits under the current International Standard on Auditing [DE] 315 (revised 2019) at financial service institutions
• IT auditing and consulting on implementing regulatory requirements (incl. DORA, BAIT, ZAIT, KAIT)
• Consulting and assisting several companies with projects to introduce ERP
