Grant Thornton advises Main Capital Partners and PeakAvenue on the acquisition of Isograph

PeakAvenue, an international provider of engineering and quality management software solutions, recently completed the strategic acquisition of Isograph. Isograph is a leading provider of functional safety and security software with headquarters in the UK and a branch in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
Grant Thornton advised Main Capital Partners and PeakAvenue on the transaction. The transaction team from the Financial Advisory service line, led by Tobias Kluth and Sven Kirse, were able to make a significant contribution to the successful completion of the acquisition through financial due diligence.
Main Capital Partners is a strategic investor focusing on enterprise software in the Benelux, DACH and Nordic regions. The company has over 2.2 billion euros in assets under management and has been helping businesses achieve sustainable growth successfully since 2003. The company focuses particularly on strategic product market positioning as well as selective buy-and-build, partnership and internationalisation strategies.
PeakAvenue GmbH originated from the merger in 2022 of the two well-known German companies PLATO GmbH and iqs Software GmbH and focuses on the development of modern software solutions for product lifecycle management, risk analysis and requirements engineering for many industries worldwide. The company offers holistic, customised solutions for mid-market companies as well as large international corporations.
Founded in the UK in 1986, Isograph Ltd. offers a wide range of reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS) solutions and is one of the leading providers of fault tree software to blue chip customers worldwide. Isograph’s software is used by over 1,900 customers in a range of industries including aerospace, semiconductors, energy, defence and automotive, particularly in the UK, USA, Germany and Australia.
