Your reliable partners.
Düsseldorf, 11. Juli 2024
Main Capital Partners recently completed the strategic acquisition of a majority stake in SoftProject, a leading German provider of business process management software.
Grant Thornton advised Main Capital Partners on the transaction. The transaction team from the Financial Advisory service line, led by Tobias Kluth and Sven Kirse, were able to make a significant contribution to the successful completion of the acquisition through financial due diligence.
Main Capital Partners is a leading software investor in the Benelux, DACH, the Nordics, and the United States with approximately EUR 6 billion in Assets under Management. The investor has over 20 years of experience in strengthening software companies and works closely with the management teams in its portfolio as a strategic partner to achieve profitable growth and larger outstanding software groups. Main Capital Partners concentrates on strategic product-market positioning, selective buy-and-build, partnership, and internationalization strategies.
SoftProject was founded in 2000 and is a leading provider of BPM software in Germany. SoftProject has established itself as a reliable partner for over 300 companies. The company's flagship product, the X4 BPMS platform, is a low-code solution that simplifies process modeling, automation, and data integration.
