Grant Thornton advises the shareholders of Landefeld Druckluft und Hydraulik on the sale of a minority interest to Viessmann

Düsseldorf, 7 August 2024 – The shareholders of Landefeld Druckluft und Hydraulik GmbH (“Landefeld”) and Landefeld Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, one of the leading suppliers of pneumatic, hydraulic and industrial supplies in the European market, sold their minority interest in these companies to Viessmann Generations Group GmbH & Co. KG (“Viessmann”).

A Grant Thornton team led by Partner Tobias Kluth advised the Landefeld shareholders on all financial and economic matters throughout the entire transaction process.

Landefeld is a second generation family-owned business based in Kassel and has been one of Europe's leading suppliers of pneumatic and hydraulic components and industrial supplies for over 40 years. The company can rely on its experience with technology and sophisticated support combined with short delivery times for one of the broadest product ranges on the market.

Viessmann is an independent family-owned business established in 1917, which today operates as a global, broadly diversified group. All its activities are based on the purpose to create living spaces for generations to come. The group has completed several transformations: from the transition to renewable energies, the internationalisation of its business, over digitalisation and generational change to the modernisation of its organisational structure and the implementation of a buy-and-build approach to investing.
