Grant Thornton advises Main Capital Partners and JobRouter on the acquisition of sycat Group

JobRouter AG, provider of a cross-industry low-code digitization platform, announced the strategic acquisition of the sycat group of companies on 18 January 2024. The two companies will work together in future under the umbrella of the JobRouter Group. The merger is JobRouter's second acquisition since the start of the strategic partnership with Main Capital Partners in 2017.
Grant Thornton advised JobRouter and Main Capital Partners on the transaction. The transaction team from the Financial Advisory division led by Tobias Kluth and Sven Kirse made a significant contribution to the successful completion of the acquisition through financial due diligence.
JobRouter, based in Mannheim, is a global provider of solutions for digital transformation in companies and is manufacturer of a cross-industry low-code digitization platform. JobRouter currently serves over 2,000 customers globally and collaborates with an international network of over 200 partners, in addition to its foreign offices in the UK and the USA.
Sycat Group, headquartered in Hanover, develops software solutions, and offers consulting services in the areas of integrated management and process management systems. With around 40 employees, sycat Group serves more than 2,750 customers across all sectors and company sizes in the DACH region.
As a strategic investor with a focus on enterprise software in the Benelux, DACH and Nordic regions, Main Capital Partners manages assets of more than EUR 2.2 billion. The company focuses on strategic product-market positioning as well as selective buy-and-build, partnership and internationalization strategies.
