Grant Thornton advises Kearney on strategic acquisition of TEAMS Design
Düsseldorf, July 13, 2023
Kearney, a leading global strategy consulting partnership, has acquired TEAMS Design, an industrial design firm being based across three countries with design studios located in Chicago, Hamburg, Shanghai and Stuttgart. The successful deal represents a continuation of Kearney’s strategy to accelerate growth, serve clients in greater depth and will also enable a deeper partnership between TEAMS and Kearney’s Product Excellence and Renewal Lab (PERL), a lab within Kearney that advises companies on product strategy.
Grant Thornton advised Kearney on the acquisition. Comprising professionals from Germany, China and the US, our Grant Thornton team headed by transaction experts Tim Gonnermann (Financial), Dr. Stefan Hahn and Torben Schlitt (both Tax) contributed to the successful completion of the transaction by providing financial due diligence, tax due diligence and other advisory services.
